I am a felting artist living in Toronto creating landscapes, trees, and abstract horizons out of wool and silk.
I use my art to process my work as a family doctor by creating peaceful scenes that are meditative and reflect the beauty in nature.
I blend wool fibres, silk, and plant materials together using water, soap, and agitation to form a textured surface which I further embellish with stitching and needle felting. Using surface design techniques such as bas-relief, shibori, and fibre shrinkage I create works that are calming with an element of spontaneity.
My fibre art is nature inspired and created for your home.
