I am a felting artist living in Toronto and my landscapes and abstract horizons are a vibrant expression of my love for colour and texture.  I work as a family doctor during the day, am married, and have three grown sons and a daughter in law.  Life is full of anxieties and hurts and after a busy day at the office I use my felting to create calm and peaceful scenes that reflect the beauty in nature.  Having grown up on a family farm in Ontario I was immersed in fields and trees and big skies.  These rural landscapes continue to profoundly inspire me. I also am in continual awe of the sunrises and sunsets over Lake Ontario and Erie and incorporate many of the photos I take of these peaceful moments into my artwork. It is my hope that the fibre art I create finds it's way into homes where one can exhale, find  peace, and connect with the natural beauty around us.
